Beginning Summer 2010 residents of The Woodlands, Tomball, Magnolia and Spring can enroll their children in our 3 ½ hour afterschool program designed to target children’s physical health, nutrition and help them finish school obligations like homework early. By the time their parents pick their children up they will have their homework completed and be able to spend quality time with the family without all the stress of what still needs to be completed before dinner. My Gym KidZone will dedicate at least 4 staff members to make sure the children get all the attention they need to complete their homework. In addition to this, the children will be exposed to a different activity each day included with the tuition. Since we are children’s fitness and gymnastic facility we are able to offer our Cardio Kids classes, Gymnastic classes, Art classes, and Karate instruction at Absolutely No additional cost to parents. No other program can offer this type of enrichment programs for no cost. It’s what we do and truly believe that Fitness can be Made Fun for Kids. Our program relieves stress. Homework is done, backpacks are packed and the whole family can appreciate it.
After school, our KidZone school buses drive to Coulson Tough Elementary, Deretchin Elementary, David Elementary, Sally K Ride Elementary, Glen Lock Elementary, Bush Elementary, Galatas Elementary, Powell Elementary, Creekside Elementary and Buckalew Elementary and transports the children to our new My Gym of The Woodlands Facility in Sterling Ridge said Fritz. Children arrive at 3:30pm and are fed healthy snacks like granola bars and fruit juices before we start the 45 minute enrichment program for that day. They will also experience some outside activity which will be motion based games for some fresh air and team work building.
After all of this activity is completed, the staffers will escort the children to the learning center for all remaining homework to be completed with the teachers and instructors. Once it is checked and everything is completed they will be allowed a free play time in our extensive gymnastic facility until their parents pick them up by 6:30pm. We will also have available our Activity center which will have plasmas TV’s for supervised internet computer games and x-box child friendly video games. After a round of free time, the children depart by 6:30pm and return the following day. On days off from school, KidZone expands from 3 ½ hours to 10 ½ hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. to relieve working parents.

Jeanette Fritz supervises the six staffers and handles all KIDZONE curriculums, special events and the homework assistance program.
