Infants:
4 week-17 months Infants increase an average of 10-12 pounds and 9 inches in height/length per year. Toddler 1:
18-23 months, an average child increase 4 pounds, 4-5 inches per year with totals of 28 pounds and 33 inches. Continue to provide an atmosphere to stimulate positive growth of physical, mental, sensorial, positive emotional attitudes. Assist with the implication of tool usage thought game play, nursery rhymes, fitness. Continue to develop word and color, and acoustical recognition through story telling, game play and musical songs and singing respectively. Begin size distinguishment.
Toddler 2:
2-3 year old, an average increase 3-4 pounds, 3 inches per year with totals of 32 pounds and 36 inches. Continue to provide an atmosphere to stimulate positive growth of physical, mental, sensorial, positive emotional attitudes. Develop memory, imagination, and thinking. Continue with Toddler 1 recognition. Establish speech dialogue with contemporary. Continue size distinguishment.
Pre School 1:
3- 4 years old, an average child will have a weight increase of 3 pound and 3 inches per year for a total of 35 pounds and 39 inches tall. Continue to provide an atmosphere to stimulate positive growth of physical, mental, sensorial, happy emotional attitudes. Intensive development of previous recognitions. Continue development of music, musical instruments, and nursery rhymes. Begin to compare volumes.
Pre School 2:
4- 5 year olds, an average child will have a weight increase of 3-4 pounds and 3 inches per year for a total of 38 pounds and 42 inches tall. Continue to provide an atmosphere to stimulate positive growth of physical, mental, sensorial and happy emotional attitudes. Continue with word, picture and geometric recognition. Continue to form moral representations to help each other and use toys together. Assist with coherent and consecutive speech, mathematical games in preparation for school.
