A long-time teacher and administrator, Cathy Abercrombie has been working to make a difference in the lives of students in the Northwest Harris County area for over 30 years. After working in public education for 8 years, Mrs.Abercrombie began her work in private schools following her move to Houston in 1969. The Preschool/Kindergarten at Theiss Mail Road followed in 1982, and in 1990, construction on the Elementary building was completed at the Theiss Mail Road campus. Abercrombie Academy has been accredited through Texas Alliance of Accredited Private Schools(TAAPS).
