The Illinois Learning Academy is a private vocational school and approved by the Illinois Board of Education. A Certificate of approval to operate has been issued by the Illinois Superintendent of Education, 100 N. First Street, Springfield, Illinois 62777.

Our Mission:
ILA is a career and language learning academy dedicated to teaching marketable career skills and improving the oral and written communication skills of students. Our educational goal is to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of the English language. The training is designed for mature, adult student, and our graduates will have the English skills needed to enter the workforce or to further their education. This program prepares students for employment in various industries where solid command of the English language is required. The training also ensures that students will gain necessary knowledge in English grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, to develop the skills needed for conversation in English. The student will gain a better understanding of American customs and cultures as well.”

English Language Testing:
All applicants for admission, accepted into the program, are given a written and oral placement test to determine their current knowledge of the English language, and placed into a proper level accordingly.
