Educating our children is a very important job and we need all of us to work together to make this happen.  Our goal is for 100% of our families and teachers to join the PTA and be involved with our school. By joining the PTA, you will be an active participant in:

•    Supporting the academic success of our students through programs like Chess club, Language club, Drama, Poetry, and Art residencies, Cultural Arts performances, Book Nook, and classroom grants.

•    Building a strong community through activities and events such as the Ice Cream Social; Ethnic Arts Festival; Sports and Recreation programs; Celebrate Your Heritage Dinner, Family Math Night, Spring Carnival, Family Fun Run and Picnic; and After-School Clubs.

•    Fundraising efforts that make all of this possible!  Our events this year include the Fall Gift Wrap Sale, Evening Benefit for the Arts, Carnival, and the Scholastic Book Fair.

We have volunteer opportunities for everyone - including moms, dads, teachers, and friends.  No matter where your interests lie, there’s something for everyone.  Whether you help in the classroom, volunteer or plan an event or program, your participation greatly helps our school and enriches the education of all our children.  Please return the attached Volunteer Form indicating how you would like to help out.  To find out more about our PTA efforts and opportunities, please contact either of us, attend the PTA Open House Breakfast on Friday morning, September 11th or attend the first PTA meeting on Tuesday, September 15th  Thank you for your support!
