Students come to Niles Central at various stages in their academic development. Course placement for beginning Niles Central students is based upon the student’s successful completion of coursework taken before placement at Niles Central. Course content is comparable in rigor with that of the general education basic level track and may be modified to address student needs.

We believe that each one of our students possesses the potential to do great things in life and we will do whatever is necessary in helping them achieve their goals. We hold high expectations for our students, both academically and behaviorally, and will accept nothing less than their best effort. While holding our students to these standards can be challenging at times, we know the payoff is certainly worth the effort and is aligned with what you as a parent want for your child. It is in this partnership between home-school that is the foundation of our program.

Communication and collaborative problem-solving are some of the many strengths of our program and I strongly encourage you to be an active participant in this process. With a strong working relationship between home-school, we greatly enhance the outcomes of our children’s education.
