Jane Stenson School, named after a teacher and principal from our district, is located at the corner of Church Street and Lockwood Avenue in Skokie, Illinois. It was the second school in the Sharp Corner School District that is now known as Skokie School District 68. Our school has a fifty year history that we are proudly celebrating this year!

Learning can be fun and it certainly is at Stenson! From music class to science, there are always great activities to keep young brains growing.

Jane Stenson School is one of the three elementary schools in Skokie School District 68. About 300 students from kindergarten through 5th grade attend. Our students come from many ethnic backgrounds. Mrs. Sue O'Neil has been principal of Jane Stenson School since August of 1994.

The Susan Pappas Garden was dedicated to a great teacher who retired in 2003. Mrs. Pappas worked hard to create this garden in 2000. The Student Council supplies flowers every spring for the students to plant in the garden. Stenson families sign up to take care of the garden during the summer.
